Lead Game Designer

We are Owlcat Games, the creators of the computer and console games: Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, hardcore isometric RPGs. And currently we are working on even more new and ambitious projects. Here at Owlcat we encourage an exceptionally friendly and open atmosphere. Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

· To process vision of the project into vision of game design elements and correctly present this vision to the team

· Create the design of game elements and implement them with the help of the design team and other development teams

· Being responsible for the quality of the project’s design documentation

· Providing design specifications to artists, programmers, and UI/UX designers and ensuring the results meet these specifications

· Monitoring the video game market and deconstructing similar projects

· Overseeing the full implementation of new game elements by providing design specifications and interacting with other development teams

· Setting up work processes and assembling a project team within the game design department.

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

· A minimum of 5+ years of work experience in game design and a minimum of 2+ years of experience managing a game design team

· A portfolio of released, commercially successful projects

· Vast gaming experience and a solid understanding of video game genres and mechanics

· Experience in writing and implementing design documents

· Experience in developing elements of game and combat mechanics

· Ability to make a convincing argument.

· Familiarity with TTRPGs (tabletop role-playing games) as a plus.
